My blog is mostly prose and sometimes poetry though I rarely
follow the "rules" when I write. It is random
thoughts of life through my green eyes.
What's New At My Keyboard?
"The Seer and Miss Clark" has been completed and I am waiting for the printed Proof Copy so I can do a final review before it is put on Amazon Kindle. The story comes out of the Civil War as most of my stories do and is about ten Union soldiers who desert from their posts. They plan and carry out a robbery of the Union Payroll wagon before escaping heading in different directions and the people who are affected by their actions. Rolled into the story is a love story.
While waiting for the Proof Copy, I have taken back out the WWII story that I put away in 2015. I struggled with this but hopefully I can push past the problems and finish the story.

WHEN THE WAR IS OVER
Book 3 of Ellery's Sisters series is now available on Kindle and Amazon
Captain Rowland Sawyer of the U.S. Army began his career after graduating from Virginia Military Institute. When war broke out across the country, his job was to find and arrest spies, traitors and the growing criminal element in both the government and the Army. During an assignment in the Gap, he crosses paths with Josie Younger the wife of his good friend Thomas Younger who has been reported as missing in action near Chancellorsville, Virginia. Her reckless decision to search for her husband brings together the many friends from the Institute as they stand on opposite sides of the conflict. Rowland finds remaining impartial difficult since Josie reminds him so much of Alison Ellery the young Virginia girl who stole his heart at the beginning of the war. His loyalty to his country is shaken as his heart is torn over the people he cares about.
This novel is about the men who graduated from VMI six years before the Civil War. Captain Rowland Sawyer is a character in the series The Ellery Sisters. It takes place in Virginia during the last two years of the war before Alison Ellery marries Rowland Sawyer.
This is my 12th published Novel.

THE VISITOR SERIES
This is a historical romance story that is broken into 6 books of the entire life of a young Virginian girl, Mirisa Eppes.
As the Civil War begins to invade their plantation along the Chesapeake River, Dr. Eppes sends his daughter to Natchez, Mississippi, to wait out the war under the protection of the dangerous and hardened Dominic Lanfear.
The story is filled with compromise, Mirisa's naive and loving nature and Dominic's inability to not have her for himself despite his doubts about whether he could be a good husband.
Mirisa path crosses with the haunted mansion where her bond to Dominic's ancestors and the strong Indian spirit, Conrad, leads her into danger and adventure unimaginable by the young girl. Conrad remains her protector until the end of life as she struggles with loving him and hating him for he forces her to understand the changes of her life.
The four men hired by her father to protect her are dangerous, devout womanizers, rich, cunning, loyal and ill prepared to handle Mirisia.
The close friendship of Dominic, James, Garnett and Meeks weaves a relationship with Mirisa which none of them are able to ever escape.
This story is about four hardened men and one beautiful girl who opens her heart to the adventure they bring.
I have a Google blog that leans more toward my writing and thoughts and an Author's Page on Goodreads as well as a fan page "The Visitor Fan Page" on Facebook.
Is a collection of very short stories about love, sex and rock and roll.
Very ecelectic and unusual little stories.
Is a story about six lawyers whose bond starts as young children and challenges them when a friend is suspected of murder.
